Helplessness looks like a tsunami rushing toward a frail wooden cottage.
It feels like a rough leather binding deep underground.
Helplessness tastes like tangy blood mixed with cold, hard, steel.
It sounds like the crying of a large beached whale at low tide.
Helplessness smells like an oil spill burning with fire and belching black smoke.
Helplessness makes me feel impotent and weak and unable to help anyone.
