Look out your window, over the hill
past the daunting, past the chill.
You'll find the whispering trees
swaying in the breeze
The light of the day is quite a sight
It thrills me and fills me with pure delight
The sun lights up the shadows
like a candle in the night
The bees are buzzing past the bank
while the robins rush to the river,
their voices ring as if they are of highest rank
There's a river that flows that shimmers like gems
the flowers are picturesque, with golden stems
You may think what I say is not true
But look out your window when the sky is blue
and you will see what I say is as true as can be
and this is the place where I will flee
