Thanksgiving Poem

Family gathers in one big place

The smells travel all through the home

Kids run to the food like a race

The kids all run around and roam

The turkey sizzling in the oven

While people are buttering the buns

All kids play with cousins

Family thanksgiving fun

After dinner our stomachs full

The food has really caused great joy

The kids beg not to leave with a pull

Thanksgiving is a day you can’t not enjoy

The house is now a big jumble

All the dishes sitting in the sink

Our stomachs still loud with a grumble

Thanksgiving sure doesn’t stink
