Green

by Isabella A. , Grade 7, Chico Country Day School, Chico, CALIFORNIA USA

The green grass in the front yard

The green tee shirt I wear

The green seaweed in the ocean

The sound of a cactus rubbing on your skin

The sound of green pop rocks popping in my mouth

The sound of cutting into a honeydew melon

It tastes like biting into a juicy green Skittle

It tastes like taking a refreshing sip of green Gatorade

It tastes like biting into a yummy green grape

It feels like petting the soft green pillow in my room

It feels like laying in the silky grass in the summer

Green can do amazing things
