Out of line

by James P., Age 12 , Grade 7, SRMS
Teacher: Mrs.G

I wish I could feel the pain of rejection

I want to feel the piercing pain in my soul

But for all my life I’ve been cut

Now the pain doesn't pay its toll

Honestly

It's not fair anymore

Honestly

Now it's something ignored

Will my heart ever break again

The same way it did the first time

Will my legs ever shake again

But now my hearts out of line

Now my hearts out of line

So many times I’ve lost my hope

I can speak it note for note

Every time it's hurts a little less

Maybe it's time to make a second guess

Honestly

It's not fair anymore

Honestly

I just can't seem to ignore

Will my heart ever break again

The same way it did the first time

Will my legs ever shake again

But now my hearts out of line

Now my hearts out of line

Don't you hear me calling

Or am I just paranoid

I think you're just stalling

So baby just fill my void

Will my heart ever break again

The same way it did the first time

Will my legs ever shake again

But now my hearts out of line

Now my hearts out of line

Will my heart ever break again

The same way it did the first time

Will my legs ever shake again

But now my hearts out of line

Now my hearts out of line

Out of line

Out of line

Out of line
