Tremendous Trees

by Casey A. , Grade 5, The Academy of Our Lady of Peace, New Providence, NEW JERSEY USA
Teacher: Liz Frith

Wind whisks around thin brittle branches as they lightly sway.

Colorful, vibrant leaves set in an astounding array.

The warm autumn breeze will promptly blow

as plump, sweet apples rapidly grow.

Trees will tower above the rest providing us

with what us best.

Trees give us sleek paper.

The paper and the trees share a link.

Paper, where we spill our dreams in ink.

I glance outside my windows and see a sliver

of sunset hidden by trees.

Trees after centuries still standing with ease.
