The Paradox of Time

by Gabriel M., Age 13 , Grade 8, New Kent Middle School, New Kent, VIRGINIA USA
Teacher: Mrs. Hodges

The final dimension: Time.

Time.

Time.

A resource that it so plentiful yet so precious.

Man reached the stars, and the depths of the Ocean,

Yet man is bound by Time.

Time.

Time.

The neverending.

Always here.

Time.

Time.

Time stops.

You stop.

All stops.

For Time

Has Stopped.

Here you stand

Awaiting the moment

That man has broken

Time.

Time.

Time is unlocked.

Or so it seems?

The one thing

Holding man to Earth

Is gone

Time is a barrier

Holding us back

And once unlocked

We are not blocked

Or are we?

Time is both our friend and enemy

Always helping,

Only to turn on us.

Time.

Time.

Time.

Time.

The cycle of Time only resets

Once man has broken it.

So if we are to stay longer

We must stay bound to our Time.
