To whoever invented the internet, thank you!

by Aiden B., Age 10 , Grade 4, Edinboro elementary school, P.A

The internet is a blessing, we can all agree on that, right?  Even if you don’t, l’ll share some facts about who invented it.

Firstly to clarify, it took dozens of people to make the internet and FYI(for your information). it was first called “ARPANET” with one of the main building blocks being “packet switching” this was pretty much the old version of Instagram.  And like Instagram, it was for communication purposes only.

Also a man named Crovitz helped greatly in the making of the internet.  The first network equipment was called “IMP” being the first switch and you can probably guess, IMP.

The ARPANET  was used for military personnel only at first.  ARPANET is now called the “DARPA”.  The ARPANET project was led by a man named Bob Taylor who sadly died April 14,  2017.

And now,  we have the same computers and internet as the past 5-16 years.

(Fun fact Donald Trump wants to make more advanced devices for less.)
