I Saw the Light

I saw the light, the day that I realized I wouldn’t see you anymore

I saw the light, the day I realized I wouldn’t be able to hug you anymore

I saw the light, the day I realized I wouldn’t be able to talk to you

I saw the light, the day that I finally realized you were dead

I remember that day I saw the light, that I was crying and begging you to come back but, I knew that you wouldn’t be able to I realized you tried your hardest to stay as long as you could you fought your heart out, you tried your best I miss you mom-mom I’m glad you tried your best though

I saw the light, the day that I realized that I would not be able to do any of those things anymore

I saw the light, the day that I realized I loved you the most.
