Sun's Gift

by Noah K., Age 12 , Grade 7, Salisbury Middle School, Bethlehem, PENNSYLVANIA USA
Teacher: Mrs. Prokesch

I awoke myself joyfully to the beaming sun,

The beaming sun, joyful on it’s own.

On it’s own, it gives joy to the surface of Earth,

Surface of Earth, reflecting, soaking, and dispersing, accepts the gift from the sun.

From the sun, the Earth is brought to life,

Brought to life, the Earth, creates its own gift for the sun.

For the sun, the Earth creates people from the sunlight.

From the sunlight, the people are thankful for the transactions between the sun and Earth.

Sun and Earth, working together, give us life.

“Give us life”, says the people, to the beaming sun.
