My Ancient Maple Tree
By: Sienna

My ancient  maple tree, green leaves glowing red in the sun
Its rough but strong trunk is welcome to climb,
Soft cool leaves tickling my face, gentle breeze calming me down,
Reaching the top, I catch glamorous sight, multiple trees swaying in the breeze,
Red, orange, yellow, green, purple, brown, glinting in the sun,
The sun is setting, as fall comes around, these leaves will turn from gold to brown,
Winter always brings a tidal wave, washing all the leaves to their graves,
Then spring will come to start again, sprouting all leaves from small green stem.
