Cuirosity is a Cool Thing

by Annemarie M., Age 11 , Grade 6, St. Francis of Assisi, Louisville, KENTUCKY USA

Curiosity is a cool thing

It lets you wonder where

No one has been.

Have you ever been in

An abandoned shed

Because your father

Had to get something?

And there were bugs,

And I’m talking about

Those HUGE spiders.

Eww, I just hate thinking

About it. Well my point

Is that without curiosity

I wouldn’t be wondering

Of what’s in that shed,

But my fear of spiders

Still exist.

I have concurred so many

Fears with my curiosity.

I wouldn’t have discovered

Some of my fears without

Curiosity.

And some things I wouldn’t

Have ever been able to see

Without my curiosity.

But like I said in the beginning

Curiosity is a really cool thing

To have, and I’m sorry if you don’t

Have it because you are missing

Out on some really cool experience!

So if I were you I would let your

Curiosity run wild, and discover

What you haven’t discovered yet,

Ride what hasn’t been ridden,

See what no one has seen,

And imagine what you haven’t

 Imagined yet!
