Orange

by: Allison Shaffer

Orange, so simple and bright,

Neon, subtle, easy to sight.

The color draws my attention,

Don’t even mention,

My favorite color, Orange.

The beautiful color is no other, than orange.

Orange, a secondary color.

Looks very airy, never scary,

reminding me of Disney fairies.

On the contrary, it is legendary.

Orange may never be the color of a sporange,

and if you believe,

the leaves will be orange in autumn.

Orange is bright, making it easy to sight.

Rising like the sun, reminding me of fun.

The color makes my eyes pop like a gun,

It stuns my heart to see the beauty.

The neon will last more than an eon,

The beautiful color orange,

Is the best you will see,

Orange.
