Martin, had a dream

I too have dreams

But, his was special

He fought and fought

For equal rights

All because one night

He had a dream

Martin had a dream

“That my kids will one day

live in a nation, that they won’t

be judged by the color of their skin,

but by the content of their character.”[1]

But, Martin didn’t quite make it

Long enough to see his dream

You see on April 4, 1968

Martin was assassinated

Shot by James Earl Ray

But Martin’s dream lives on today Almost 50 years later.

So as I said,

Martin had a dream.

I too have dreams.

But, can I make a difference………………...?
