“An Elegy to Grandma”

You were the best grandma in the world

You would always send us gifts for our birthday

You would be the nicest when we would come

                                                              But one day you left

I miss the days we would go to the park

And throw the ball for my dog

And go down to the beach and play in the sand

You were the best person anyone could ask for

I wish you were here

Just like the old days.
